Olga and Josh together with Brooke from Burlap and Bordeaux dreamed up a colorful wedding with a palette ranging from pinks and blues to yellows and lavenders. Held at Quail Ranch, this wedding proves that having a color-filled palette can still be romantic, elegant, and timeless. The details and moments were captured by Rewind Photography. One of our favorite moments is right before the ceremony the two had a moment for themselves for their first look. However, staying true to not seeing the bride before, Josh had his friend blindfold him. And even with that, you can tell his raw emotions! Keep a look out for that below.

The day unfolded with one beautiful thing at a time, a grand floral arch stood at the ceremony where the groom waited for his bride to exchange vows with (along with their puppy of course!). The bride was stunning in her lace number and flowed with her veil down where individual bouquets were tied to the chairs facing the aisle.

The love for these two continued over to reception with cream lace textured linen by Dreams America Linens. A Rental Connection provided the furnishing including the sweetheart settee that was to swoon over and the upholstered vintage sofa set for the lounge vignette. We added touches of gold from the candles to the charger places to pop against all the colors. The menus featured an array of blues and orange keeping this fun color palette throughout the wedding. Command Performance served up a fantastic menu while DJ Zeke kept the party going for the rest of the day.

We have a little bonus story for you all from the bride herself!

On how they met:
Josh and I met in High school Summer 2001. We were both enrolled in summer school. I didn't know anyone going into freshman year, and Josh had one good friend, a handful of cousins, and his mom was a teacher at the high school we met at. I was fixing my locker, and he came over to say hi to me, with his only friend, and both of them started making fun of me telling me how small I was, and from there a friendship was born.

On how wedding planning was like:
Wedding planning was fun and exciting. Brooke was very helpful though in organizing the process of prioritizing! I think having a wedding celebration is important to solidify the commitment of the relationship. Whether you’re into a fairytale wedding or something different, the memories are everything!
